During maths groups Dhuril learnt about 3D objects. Each student learnt hands on how to make various 3D objects.

Today Dhuril along with all our support classes were invited to attend a Spring Fair at Vincentia High School that was organised and hosted by the students of the support unit. The students did an awesome job with all our students thoroughly enjoying their experience.

Today Bethany brought in her pet bearded dragon Spike for our class to see. She was able to answer all the interesting questions that our students had.

Yesterday students from our Support Classes were joined at Francis Ryan Oval by students from Vincentia Primary and Budawang schools to partake in the Dream Cricket clinic.
The students had a fantastic day and made new friendships.

On Monday, 150 of our students had the opportunity to go to the hall and partake in the Snake Tails program. The students were entertained and taught all about reptiles and even got to touch a real live snake.

As part of our PDHPE program Dhuril (and other classes at SPPS) are going to be undertaking a healthy eating challenge. We will be looking at the food and drink choices that students are currently making and how these affect their bodies and health. 

With our exciting excursion coming up, just a few reminders so there are no issue on the day and it can run smoothly.

Firstly, please ensure that all students on the excursion are at school nice and early so we can depart from school by the scheduled 9:15 time. We will be meeting in our classroom at 9 to mark the roll.

Secondly, as we are representing our school on this excursion all students must be in full school uniform, being white shirt with green shorts or pants and a green school jumper.

There will be no opportunities for the students to purchase food, so please ensure a full lunch is packed for the day including a drink bottle.

Devices are allowed to be brought with the students to take photos of the excursion, but these are to remain the sole responsibility of the student and are not to be shared.

This is going to be a fantastic excursion, and we will have lots of photos, stories and learning to share on our return.

To consolidate our maths concept of decimals this week, Ms Rhodes took Dhuril to the IGA to practise life skills and look at the pricing of different items. The class greatly  enjoyed this experience.
